More books are translated from English to Spanish in a year, than there are English books translated to Arabic in a thousand years.

Faisal al Mutar is an Iraqi who grew up under Saddam Hussein’s regime and experienced first-hand the villainy of extremism and authoritarian regimes. He survived the Iraq Civil War, the murder of his brother, and several kidnapping attempts before becoming a refugee in the United States in 2013.

Faisal Saeed Al Mutar is a refugee and one of the most inspirational social entrepreneurs you’ll ever meet. He founded a nonprofit organisation called Ideas Beyond Borders. This organisation acquires the rights to books, translates them to Arabic for free, and allows anyone to access them for free.
